My sister-in-law has a dog (and the occasional cat) rescue in Amite, LA. She and her husband have been hosting Fido Fest in the Spring for the last few years to raise funds to keep their rescue efforts going. Last year I made an appliqued quilt that was a raffle prize at Fido Fest, and it was quite successful.
This year I decided to send a quilt again. It's a pieced, lap sized quilt, using lots of "doggie" fabric that I collected during the year. Hope it will bring in lots of dollars to feed the puppies!
